Eric Cantona Curated Local Football Tours – Iconic Clubs/Matches Venture Launch

In collaboration with travel startup Seek Dharma, sporting legend Eric Cantona has launched Looking FC (, a series of football tours for enthusiastic football fans to explore the globe and its cities via their football communities. The new venture aims to provide fans with authentic, local experiences, putting them in the shoes of that community’s fan base.

The newly announced company, founded by the charismatic star widely considered one of the greatest footballers of his generation, takes football fans to the cities – and matches – of the world’s most iconic clubs. Fans are treated to an immersive football experience, inclusive of all the sights and sounds of the area, and perspectives of the local fanbase and journalists.

English premier league fans, for example, are estimated to spend well over one billion euros following their favourite clubs. While booking tickets and organising travel and hotels can be a hassle for the average fan, Looking FC takes care of all of that and tailors its program to the most passionate fans.

For example, the three-day itinerary for the Real Madrid vs Barcelona match includes a tour of Bernabeu Stadium, a Madrid masterclass with a top El Pais footie writer, and the chance to dine at Real Madrid player-owned Sanchis Bar Marisquera. The tour also includes three nights of hotel accommodation, a Madrid-Footie-themed walking tour, and the services of the Looking FC trip captain.

Liverpool F.C. vs Inter Milan at Anfield is the Champions League last-16 second leg on March 8, 2022. The tour features an LFC chant workshop at Jurgens Bierhaus, the chance to run up the hallowed tunnel at Anfield, and a walk through Liverpool, visiting all the club landmarks.

Eric Cantona believes that football is a way of life, and he married his love of storytelling and narrative with his passion for the sport in a series of films entitled “Looking For….”, an exploration of the magic of footballing capitals around the world. This was the inspiration for the new company, a celebration of football, its fans, and its traditions.
